Steven Mittleman

Steven Mittleman is a retired educator, engineer, and currently the principal artisan at Highgate Woodworkers. He has been engaged in all aspects of wood crafts and design for over 50 years. For the past 23 years he has specialized in woodturning, creating  functional wood forms using a variety of wood species, highlighting their natural beauty, color and texture. His work has been displayed and sold in many art galleries and craft fairs throughout the northeast United States. The website www.highgatewoodworkers.com shows much of his earlier work.
