This is an exhibition featuring the works of two married artists, Patrick Steele and Chelsea Bradway. They were TMCA gallery members from 2018-2022 and are still connected to the artist community here. They collaborate on art projects together and with other artists.
Chelsea’s work, like this one with fashion stylist Brooke Kanal, often focuses on real people, their hopes and personal struggles. Patrick is a figurative painter, loosely speaking, whose works are colorful and unconventional.
Patrick Steele - New Angles, current work in figures and abstract
Patrick began painting in 2017. His work incorporates structures, figures, and abstract forms to illustrate our footprints on the natural world and the resulting emotional dissonance. He says: “I show ways we don't fit perfectly in nature, seeking beauty through an untidy lens.”
